About this course

BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, an electrical and electronic engineering degree focused on technical foundations and practical hardware implementation. Core topics include Systems Design, Circuit Design, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and Control Systems. Students can transfer to the four-year integrated Masters degree at the end of their second year. The first year covers core fundamentals through modules such as Circuit Analysis and Design, Physics of Electronic Devices, Introduction to Communication Systems, and Digital Electronics and Microcontrollers, alongside an Electronic Design Project. The second year advances into specialized topics including Electronic Circuit and Systems design, Transistors and Optoelectronic Devices, Communications Theory, and Power Electronics, complemented by an Embedded Systems Project and Microprocessors and Programmable Logic. The third year encompasses advanced technical study via modules like RF and Microwave Systems, Electric Machines, Control Systems, Digital Media Engineering, and Electric Power Systems, culminating in an Individual Engineering Project alongside Professional Studies and Digital Communications.
