A level: AAB including one arts, humanities or social science subject. Excluding general studies and critical thinking. (specific subject requirements) BTEC: DDD in a BTEC Extended Diploma in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or Media IB: 35 overall (16 at higher level, with 5 at higher level in English or 6 at standard level).

About this course

BA in Film, Photography and Media, a Film Studies and BA (Hons) Photography degree focused on the theory and practice of visual communication. Core topics include Research Methods. The curriculum includes practical projects and allows students to complete a placement module. The first year covers foundational subjects through compulsory modules such as Introduction to Media and Communication Research, Camera and Editing, Introduction to Cinema, Photographic Practices, and Screen Narrative, alongside optional choices including The History of Communications.
