Entry requirements

A level: AAA or AAB (specific subject requirements) BTEC: D*DD or DDD in National Extended Diploma. We can also accept a combination of National Extended Certificates and A-levels. The BTEC, with or without combination A-levels, must cover modules aligned with the subjects named in the A-level section. IB: 6,6,6 at higher level or 6,6,5 at higher level including in an accepted subject.

BA in Geography, a geography degree focused on spatial analysis, human geography, and environmental processes. The first year introduces foundational themes through Planet Under Threat, Digital Geographies, Global Geopolitics, Migration and Uneven Development, and Dynamic Landscapes. The second year builds technical and analytical capabilities with Career Skills in Geography, Research Approaches in Human Geography, Social and Spatial Data Analysis with GIS, and Natural Hazards, Human Disasters. The third year encompasses advanced investigation and specialisation through the Human Geography Dissertation, Geocomputation and Spatial Analysis, Data Visualisation for Social and Environmental Science, and Water Science and Management.
