Entry requirements
A level: CDD or above excluding Critical Thinking and General Studies. Applicants taking a science A-level (in England) will be required to achieve a pass in the practical element in addition to the standard A-level grade requirement. BTEC: Merit, Merit, Pass in National Extended Diploma. IB: 24 overall (12 higher)
About this course
BSc in Interdisciplinary Science with Foundation Year, a biological sciences and interdisciplinary science with foundation year and science with foundation year and mathematics degree providing an extended four-year route into science, engineering, healthcare, Earth sciences or mathematics. The foundation year provides teaching in mathematics and a choice of sciences, along with practical, laboratory and field work. This course is restricted to UK students from widening participation backgrounds who do not meet standard entry requirements, with successful completion allowing progression onto a pre-agreed degree course.
