About this course

LLB in Law, a law degree centred on legal systems, doctrine and socioeconomic contexts. Core topics include Legal Analysis and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme incorporates practical community engagement opportunities allowing students to work with real clients and issues. The first year covers the foundations through Contract Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Criminal Law, and Foundations of Law, alongside Legal Skills and PRIME (Professions, Reflections, Identities, Motivations & Ethics). The second year advances core knowledge via Torts, Land Law, Law and Society, and EU Law, with optional study available in modules such as Truth, Lies and Crime, International Human Rights Law, and Employment Law. The third year centres on the Law of Trusts and a compulsory Final Year Project. Optional modules in the final year allow specialisation in areas such as Company Law, Family Law, Environmental Law, Cyberlaw: Law and the Regulation of the Information Society, and Privacy and Media Law.
