About this course
LLB in Law with Hispanic Law, a law and Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American studies degree focusing on legal systems and language acquisition. Core topics include Legal Analysis. The programme includes a compulsory third year spent studying abroad in a Spanish-speaking jurisdiction. The first year covers foundational legal principles and language proficiency through Contract Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Foundations of Law, and Practical Language Skills in Spanish 1. The second year builds upon this with Torts, Criminal Law, European Legal Systems, and Practical Language Skills in Spanish 2 alongside optional choices. The third year consists of Study Abroad: Law with Hispanic Law. The final year comprises core studies in Law of Trusts, EU Law, Land Law, and a Final Year Project, supplemented by optional modules such as Company Law, Family Law, and Cyberlaw: Law and the Regulation of the Information Society.
