About this course

BA in Liberal Arts, a liberal arts degree combining different subject areas within humanities and social sciences. Core topics include Research Methods. Students can select a major from English, History, Philosophy, Politics, Sociology and Cultural Studies, alongside themes such as Creativity and Change, Global Citizenship and Communication, Disruption and Social Transformation, and Visions of the Past, Present and Future, with options for a study abroad year, work placement, or external partner engagement. The first year introduces the subject area through Introducing Liberal Arts. The second year continues with Student Research Partnerships. The final year concludes with an Independent Research Project in Liberal Arts.
