Entry requirements
A level: AAB BTEC: Applicants declaring a BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business or Enterprise and Entrepreneurship or Marketing must achieve Distinction Distinction Distinction (an A-level is not required). For other BTEC qualifications alongside academic A-levels, please see our BTEC entry requirements . IB: 35 points overall with 16 points from Higher Level subjects. Plus Mathematics can be met via a 5 at Standard Level or a 4 at Higher Level. English Language can be met via a 5 at Standard Level or Higher Level English A, or a 7 at Standard Level English B, or a 6 at Higher Level English B.
About this course
BSc in Marketing, a marketing degree centred on contemporary commercial theory, brand management and analytical techniques. Core topics include Research Methods, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Global & Comparative Perspective. This CIM-accredited programme provides professional exemptions on Level 4 Certificate and Level 6 CIM Diploma qualifications, and includes industrial placement opportunities. The first year introduces foundational subjects through Essentials of Marketing, Cross-Cultural Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communications and Introduction to Marketing Analytics. The second year progresses to specialized topics including Marketing Research, Building and Managing Brands, Digital Marketing and AI, Selling and Sales Management, and Global Services Marketing. The final year focuses on advanced studies featuring Marketing Strategy, International Marketing, Customer Relationship Analytics and Management, alongside a Dissertation/Project in Marketing. Optional modules across the degree allow students to explore areas such as accounting, business ethics, and enterprise management.
