A level: AAB. We also welcome BTEC applicants with DDD BTEC: DDD. IB: 35 overall including 16 at Higher Level.
About this course
The BMus in Music (Performance), a music degree focused on intensive instrumental or vocal training alongside academic study within the arts. Core topics include Research Methods. Students take lessons with visiting professional specialists and engage with visiting artists through an international concert series. The first year covers foundational topics through Performance Studies, Collaborative Performance, Music and Society, and Materials of Music. The second year continues with specialized training through Performance, Collaborative performance, Researching Music, and BMus Performance. The final year involves advanced practical work culminating in an Independent Research Project, Advanced BMus Performance, and Collaborative Performance.
