BA in Philosophy, Ethics and Religion, a philosophy and theology and religion degree focused on the academic study of philosophical questions, ethical frameworks, and global religious traditions. Core topics include Research Methods. The course includes a compulsory external placement module and a choice between an independent research project and an integrated research project in the final year. The first year introduces foundational subjects through modules such as How to Do Philosophy, The Good, the Bad, the Right, the Wrong, Introduction to the Study of Religions, and Bible and Theology: Texts and Traditions, while allowing students to select optional modules like Knowledge, Self and Reality or Magic, Science and Religion.
