About this course
BA Sociology, a sociology degree centred on the study of social structures, institutions, and human relations. Core topics include Research Methods and Social & Cultural Analysis. The course includes a final-year dissertation project. The first year introduces foundational themes through compulsory modules such as Exploring the City: Local and Global Contexts, Understanding Contemporary Society, Identities and Inequalities, Making Sense of Society: Reading Social Theory, and Formations of Coloniality and Modernity.
