About this course
BSc in Studies in Science with Foundation Year, a Biological Sciences and Interdisciplinary Science with Foundation Year and Science with Foundation Year and Mathematics degree designed for students who have not taken prerequisite science subjects. Successful completion of the foundation year allows students to progress onto a pre-agreed degree course at the University of Leeds. This extended degree functions as a science conversion course taught by specialist practitioners based in the Lifelong Learning Centre. Students take compulsory modules in mathematics and a choice of sciences while gaining practical experience in laboratory and field work.
