About this course
BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature and Creative Writing, combining literary study with creative practice. Creative writing is embedded throughout the course, starting in the first year and progressing to advanced work in prose fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, screenwriting, comic writing, and a creative dissertation. The degree is connected to the Centre for New Writing, which hosts lectures, masterclasses, and workshops by staff and visiting authors.
