Entry requirements
A level: BBB to ABB to include a B in Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Sport Science or Psychology . IB: 32 points overall to include a Higher Level 5 in a science related subject. (Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Sport Science, Psychology are accepted).
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Midwifery. Core topics include Research Methods, Clinical Skills, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The programme includes supervised clinical placements throughout, with the opportunity to complete Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) proficiencies. Successful graduates will be eligible to register as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
