About this course
BA (Hons) in Social Work. Core topics include Research Methods and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students complete 170 practice placement days across the second and third years, split between a 70-day placement in year two and a 100-day placement in the final year, typically in the statutory sector. The programme is approved by Social Work England, and a literature-based Practice Project of 8,000-10,000 words is completed in the third year.
