About this course

BSc (Hons) in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying, a civil engineering and building surveying degree focused on the financial and commercial aspects of construction projects. Core topics include Project Management, Accounting, Legal Analysis, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Environmental Analysis. Students can choose between a three-year full-time path and a four-year route incorporating a professional placement year. The first year establishes core foundations through Construction Technology 1, Principles of Law and Economics for the Built Environment, Measurement and Site Surveying, and Project Initialisation. The second year advances into practical applications via Construction Technology 2, Planning, Estimating and Cost Management, Construction Finance and Risk, and Professional Practice 2.
