About this course

MSci (Hons) in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, a computer science and computer science (artificial intelligence) degree centred on modern computational and intelligent systems. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Research Methods, Project Management, Ethics & Professional Practice, Entrepreneurship, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. This British Computer Society-accredited degree includes an optional professional placement year and features major independent project work alongside advanced specialisation. The first year covers core foundations through Introduction to Programming and Databases, Computer Systems and Low-level Programming, Operating Systems, Networks, Security, and Foundations of Artificial Intelligence. The second year introduces Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Professional Training Preparation, Team Projects, and Software Engineering: Practices and Principles.
