About this course

BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, a computer science degree focusing on computational theory, software development, and modern computing systems. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Project Management, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Ethics & Professional Practice, Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The curriculum includes an individual project in the final year and an optional professional placement year, and the course holds accreditation from the British Computer Society. The first year establishes core foundations through compulsory modules such as Introduction to Programming and Databases, Computer Systems and Low-level Programming, Operating Systems, Networks, Security, and Object Oriented Programming.
