A level: ABB including Maths and either Computer Science, Electronics, Physics or Design and Technology (Design Engineering/Engineering Design/Product Design). IB: 34 (6,5,5 HL)  including HL Maths and either Computer Science, Design & Technology or Physics at HL. BTEC: BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma: D*DD in a relevant subject plus A level Maths at Grade B. Grades DD in BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Engineering plus grades BB from two A levels. Grade D in BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Engineering plus Grades AB from two A levels. About this course

BEng (Hons) in Energy Engineering, an engineering degree spanning mechanical, electrical, electronic, and chemical engineering. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Project Management, Engineering Design, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students can complete the course in three years full-time or four years full-time with a placement year. The first year covers foundational principles through Core Mathematics, Programming and Software Engineering, Applied Engineering, and Engineering Science. The second year progresses to Advanced Mathematics, Energy Demand & Engineering Science, Control System Design, and Project Design and Management. The third year includes Engineering Systems and Management and an Individual Project. Optional modules in the final year allow students to study State Control Systems, Sustainable Engineering, Power Electronics, and Machine Learning and AI for Engineering.
