The first year covers foundational concepts through compulsory modules such as Learning to be a Psychologist, Research Skills A, and An Introduction to the Criminal Justice System, introducing students to both academic skills and criminal agencies. The second year examines diversity, lifespan development, and penal theory through modules including Understanding Human Diversity, Criminological Theory, and Understanding Punishment.
