About this course
BSc in Economic History, a history degree exploring the drivers of global inequality, poverty, and financial turmoil. Core topics include Research Methods. The course includes a dissertation in the final year. The first year covers foundational studies through modules such as The Internationalisation of Economic Growth, 1870 to the Present Day, Microeconomics I, Macroeconomics I, Pre-industrial Economic History, Economic History Skills, and The LSE Course, alongside outside options. The second year introduces Research Methods in Economic History, complemented by further economic history options and potential outside choices. The final year focuses on advanced study through two advanced economic history options, an additional economic history option, and a dissertation in Economic or Social History.
