About this course
BSc in International Social and Public Policy, a social policy degree examining social challenges and governance in the UK and internationally. Core topics include Research Methods and Policy Analysis. The curriculum concludes with a substantial independent dissertation. The first year introduces foundational subjects through Understanding International Social and Public Policy, Foundations of Social Policy Research, Social Economics and Policy, and Politics of Social Policy Making. The second year advances learning with Comparative and International Social Policy and Research Methods for Social Policy, alongside two unit options. The final year allows students to select three units of options from social policy or other departments while completing their dissertation.
