Entry requirements

A level: BBC IB: Pass the IB Diploma with minimum 28 points overall or 112 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects, including HL5 in Biology. If you plan to meet the Level 2 course requirements through your IB Diploma you will need to achieve Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 5 in English and Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 4 in Mathematics

About this course

BSc (Hons) Neuroscience, grounding students in the biological principles underlying the human body and a range of health disorders. Core topics include research methods, statistics, critical and analytical thinking, and ethics and professional practice. The course is professionally accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science and the Royal Society of Biology, and includes a final-year research project. A placement route is available, providing at least 36 weeks in a clinical or industrial setting.
