Entry requirements
Scottish Higher: Standard Entry Requirement: BBBB. National 5 grade C in Maths OR Applications of Maths. A level: BCC GCSE grade C/4 in Maths. Irish Leaving Certificate: H2, H2, H3, H3 at Higher Level and grade O4 in Ordinary Level Maths. BTEC Extended Diploma: Minimum grades DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit) in a related subject. GCSE grade C/4 in Maths. IB: Award of Diploma with 28 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 4 Grade 4 in SL Maths. HNC: In addition, National 5 Maths C European Baccalaureate: Pass at 70% or above with grade 7 in three subjects Grade 6 in Maths and English.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Web Development and Security, covering a broad curriculum across programming, data analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Core topics include Programming, Computer Architecture, Data Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The programme includes a group project in the penultimate year and a supervised Honours Project in the final year. The course was developed as part of the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal.
