About this course
BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. Core topics include Programming, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, Project Management, and Engineering Design. Students can undertake an optional 12-month work placement year or a study abroad year between levels 5 and 6. This programme is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to meet academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer registration and partially meet requirements for Chartered Engineer registration.
