UCAS Tariff: 96 to 112 Tariff Points Subject requirements: Applicants will need A-level Mathematics and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology), or recognised equivalents.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. Core topics include Programming, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, Project Management, and Engineering Design. Students can undertake an optional 12-month work placement or a study abroad year. The curriculum includes an investigative project in the final year, and the programme is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
