About this course
BA in European and Middle Eastern Languages, a Hebrew and Jewish Studies and Modern Languages and Modern Languages degree spanning both European and Middle Eastern linguistics and culture. The course spans four years and includes a compulsory year abroad spent attending an approved course of instruction in the Middle East. The first year covers intensive language learning alongside two language papers and one literature paper. The second year consists of study abroad in the Middle East, while adjacent summers involve spending time in a country where the chosen European language is spoken through internships or summer courses.
