About this course
MSci / BA in Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics, a biomedical science, psychology and english language and linguistics degree exploring three interrelated disciplines. Core topics include Statistics. Students can elect to graduate after three years with a BA degree or remain for an optional fourth year composed of an extended project in Experimental Psychology and allied disciplines. The first year covers the foundations through Psychology, Philosophy, Linguistics, Neurophysiology, and Probability theory and statistics. The course allows applicants to specialise in two of the three areas through options including Psychology and Philosophy, Psychology and Linguistics, and Philosophy and Linguistics. Students taking Psychology as one of their subjects can pursue a research-intensive, clinically-focused or translation-focused fourth year leading to an integrated Master's degree.
