A level: 104 UCAS tariff points, including a minimum of 2 A levels. BTEC National Extended Diploma: DMM. Please explicitly state the full list of modules within your qualification at the time of application. Access to HE Diploma: Pass an Access to HE Diploma in any subject with at least 33 credits at merit/distinction. T level: Merit in any subject. International Baccalaureate: 26 points. Other qualifications: Other combinations and non-A level qualifications also considered.
About this course
BA (Hons) in English. Core topics include Research Methods, Project Management, and Design & Creative Practice. The programme includes an optional placement year of up to 48 weeks and a supervised dissertation in critical or creative writing. Students may also engage with local arts and culture institutions including The Box, Theatre Royal, and the Charles Causley Trust.
