Entry requirements
A level: 104 UCAS tariff points, including a minimum of 2 A levels. BTEC National Extended Diploma: DMM. Access to HE Diploma: Pass an Access to HE Diploma in any subject with at least 33 credits at merit/distinction. T level: Merit in any subject. International Baccalaureate: 26 points. Other qualifications: Other combinations and non-A level qualifications also considered.
About this course
BA (Hons) in English and English Literature and Creative Writing, studying literature from early written texts to contemporary fiction. Core topics include research methods, project management, and design and creative practice. An optional placement year of 24 to 48 weeks can be taken, with the option to undertake it abroad. A final-year dissertation allows a project in either critical or creative writing.
