Entry requirements
GCSE: Mathematics and English C/4 or above is required. A level: 112 points to preferably include a relevant technical subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology or Physics. BTEC: DMM preferably studying a technical subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology or Physics. Access course: Pass Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject (Computing, IT, Science, Engineering) with at least 33 Level 3 credits at Merit/Distinction. International Baccalaureate: 28 overall preferably studying a technical subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology or Physics. T level: Merit to Distinction depending on the Mathematics units studying within the T level pathways.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Financial Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. An optional sandwich placement year offers practical experience with employers including Apple, Red Bull Racing and Schneider Electric. The final year centres on an individual research project in artificial intelligence supervised by an expert in the field.
