Entry requirements

GCSE: 5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include Mathematics, English and Science. Preference is given to applicants who have obtained these grades on application. We will consider Functional Skills Level 2 in Numeracy in place of GCSE Maths. A level: 32 UCAS points from a minimum of 2 A levels including grade E in a Science subject. Excluding: Critical Thinking and Citizen Studies. International Baccalaureate: 24 overall with Higher Level Grade 3 in a Science subject. GCSE equivalence – Higher Level = 4, Standard Level = 5 in Maths, English, and Science. If overseas and not studying English within IB – MUST have English Language qualification BTEC National Extended Diplomas and Extended Diplomas: BTEC National Extended Diplomas and Extended Diplomas are considered on an individual basis, depending on the units that are studied. They may be considered on their own or alongside A level biology, human biology, PE, or applied science, subject to the biological content of the BTEC units studied. Please provide a full list of units studied within the BTEC in order for this to be assessed. T level: Accepted, a minimum of a Pass (D or E in the Core). Preference pathways would be Health or Science. Typical offer will be confirmed once an application is received. Access: Pass an Access to HE Diploma in a relevant Science subject. English language: We are aware of the various education systems throughout the world and make offers based on equivalent qualifications to those listed in our entry requirements. You should be able to possess the ability to study in the English language and be familiar with this in a scientific context. To that end, we ask for a minimum IELTS score of at least 7.0, with a minimum score of 6.5 in each section. English language requirements. We welcome applicants with international qualifications. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Core topics include Clinical Skills, Research Methods, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme includes multiple practice placements in NHS trusts, private clinics, and community healthcare settings across the South West. Students also undertake interprofessional learning modules with other health professions and a final-year research project.
