Entry requirements
GCSE: 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and a Science. A level: 128 points from a minimum of 2 A Levels to include Grade C in Biology or Chemistry. Extended project will be counted if nutrition-related subject (this will be considered at confirmation). BTEC: DDM. Must contain Biology. BTEC National Diploma modules If you hold a BTEC qualification it is vital that you provide our Admissions team with details of the exact modules you have studied as part of the BTEC. Without this information we may be unable to process your application quickly and you could experience significant delays in the progress of your application to study with us. Please explicitly state the full list of modules including their credit rating within your qualification at the time of application. Access to HE Diploma: Pass Access (e.g. Science, Health, Nursing, and Combined Science) with 45 credits at level 3, 30 at distinction to include 15 credits in Biology or Chemistry. T level: Distinction overall with a C or above in the core component in a Health/Science Subject. International Baccalaureate: 32 points to include H5 in Biology or Chemistry. If overseas and not studying English within IB, must have IELTS 7.0 overall (6.5 min in each element). Interview days: Once your application has been received, we will consider your application to help us reach a decision. If successful at the initial screening stage, you will be invited to an interview. The majority of health courses interview applicants, as this is a requirement of many health regulatory bodies. About this course
MDiet (Hons) in Nutrition. Core topics include research methods, ethics and professional practice, entrepreneurship, and global and comparative perspectives. The programme includes three mandatory placements in healthcare settings and a research dissertation. Students also engage in interprofessional learning with other health professionals.
