Occupational Therapy
Entry requirements
GCSE: Achieved 3 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include Mathematics, English, and Science. We can consider Functional Skills Level 2 in Numeracy in place of GCSE Maths. A level: 136 points, including a minimum of 2 A levels. International Baccalaureate: 34 points overall. Access to HE Diploma: Preferably in Science/Health. Pass Access with at least 45 credits at level 3, 30 at distinction and a further 15 credits at L3 must be at Merit level. T level: Distinction overall in Health or Science Pathway. BTEC: DDD in Science, Health or Social Science is preferable. Other qualifications: Equivalent qualifications may be considered, such as relevant Open University courses (e.g. SK299 Human Biology) if other academic points requirements are met, but not in an appropriate subject. Applications from recent graduates: Applications are welcome from graduates who have successfully completed a degree, have normally studied within the last 5 years, and hold (or will hold) a minimum of a 2:1 classification in a relevant area. Applicants who have not completed their studies in the English language: I ELTS: 7.0 overall with 6.5 in all elements. About this course
MOccTh (Hons) in Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons). Core topics include clinical skills, research methods, human behaviour, ethics and professional practice, and entrepreneurship. The programme includes three practice placements and interprofessional learning modules across all years. Students undertake a research dissertation in the final year.
