Entry requirements
A level: AAB including Chemistry and Biology + GCSE Mathematics grade C/4 OR AAA including Chemistry and at least one from Mathematics or Physics + GCSE Biology grade C/4 or GCSE Double Award Science grades CC/4,4 + GCSE Mathematics grade C/4. IB: 34 points overall including 6,6,5 at Higher Level including Chemistry and Biology + GCSE Mathematics grade C/4 OR 36 points overall including 6,6,6 at Higher Level including Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics + GCSE Biology grade C/4 or GCSE Double Award Science grades CC/4,4 + GCSE Mathematics grade C/4. If not offered at Higher Level/GCSE, then Standard Level grade 4 in Mathematics and Biology would be accepted.
About this course
MSci in Biochemistry. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Data Analysis, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students undertake an extended research project in the final year and complete a professional studies placement.
