A level: BBB, including a grade B in History or a humanities-based essay subject Humanities-based essay subjects include: Classical Civilisation, English Language, English Literature, Geography, Philosophy, Politics, Religious Studies. IB: 30 points overall, including 5 in History or a humanities-based essay subject at higher level.
About this course
BA in History and Archaeology, combining the study of historical and archaeological perspectives on the human past. Core topics include Research Methods, Fieldwork, Historical Research, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme includes a year abroad at a partner university overseas, and features a four-week departmental excavation as part of the field school module.
