Entry requirements
A level: BBB including a grade B in English Literature or a related subject. Related subjects include: English Language, English Language and Literature, Drama and Theatre Studies, and Creative Writing. You will be asked to provide an online portfolio of your work when you apply. See our undergraduate portfolio information page for more details. IB: 30 points overall including 5 in English or related subject at higher level.
About this course
BA in English with Creative Writing and Fine Art, a joint degree combining literary study with visual art practice. Core topics include Research Methods. The course includes a supervised international study visit to a European art centre such as Madrid, Berlin, Paris, or Venice. Students produce a sustained independent creative work — such as a short story, play, screenplay, or poetry collection — as their dissertation.
