About this course

BSc in Marine Biology, focusing on the study of marine organisms and their ocean environments. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Fieldwork, and Environmental Analysis. The course includes a final-year Research Project and a marine field course using snorkelling or SCUBA diving. Graduates are eligible for membership of The Royal Society of Biology and can apply for Chartered Biologist status, and an optional year-long industrial placement is available between the second and final years.
