BSc Mathematics and Statistics with Data Science
Entry requirements
A level: ABC, including A level Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Pure Mathematics at grade A. If you are studying an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in addition to your A levels and achieve a B in the EPQ we will accept ACC at A level with an A in Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Pure Mathematics. IB: 30 points overall including 6 in Maths at higher level.
About this course
BSc in Mathematics and Mathematics and Statistics, combining mathematical theory with statistical methods. Core topics include programming, data analysis, statistics, mathematical modelling, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. The programme is approved by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications for Chartered Mathematician designation. Students complete a portfolio of projects on mathematical and statistical topics.
