Entry requirements

A level: ABC, including A level Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Pure Mathematics at grade A. If you are studying an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in addition to your A levels and achieve a B in the EPQ we will accept ACC at A level with an A in Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Pure Mathematics. IB: 30 points overall including 6 in Maths at higher level.

About this course

BSc in Mathematics and Mathematics and Statistics, combining mathematical theory with statistical and data science methods. Core topics include programming, mathematical modelling, machine learning, and research methods. This four-year programme includes an integrated year-long work placement between the second and final year. The degree is approved by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications toward Chartered Mathematician designation.
