A level: AAA-ABB (Required subjects: A-levels in Mathematics and Physics, plus a pass in the practical element of all science A-levels being taken. We require English and Mathematics GCSE at grade 4(C)) IB: 6,6,6 at Higher Level or a minimum of 36 points overall including 6 in Physics and 6 HL Maths: Applications & Interpretation
About this course
BSc in Physics with Astrophysics, combining core physics principles with astronomy and cosmology. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, Microelectronics, and Statistics. Students choose between an experimental or theoretical final-year project in physics, electronics or astrophysics. The Surrey campus offers dark-sky conditions for observational astronomy, and final-year projects are carried out in active research laboratories.
