Entry requirements
A level: ABB-BBB (Required subjects: Including Biology plus another science from either Chemistry, Physics or Maths. A Pass is required in the practical element of all Science A-levels taken. We require English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade 4(C)) IB: 6,5,5 at Higher Level or a minimum of 32 points overall including Higher Level Biology and either Chemistry, Maths or Physics
About this course
This BSc in Biosciences and Biochemistry provides a foundation in the molecular mechanisms underlying living systems. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, and Clinical Skills. The course includes a year in industry placement starting at the end of the second year, and optional modules in years 2 and 4 allow specialisation in areas including Evolution, Developmental Biology, Climate Change, and Cell and Molecular Neuroscience.
