A level: ABB-BBB (Required subjects: AS/A-level Greek grade B, or GCSE grade A or grade 7 if not taken at A-level We require English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade 4 (C)) IB: 6,5,5 at Higher level or 32 points overall. Including a 5 at Standard or Higher Level Greek
About this course
BA in Classics, combining the study of ancient Greek language and literature with classical civilisation. Core topics include Research Methods, Historical Research. Students can learn Latin alongside Greek and study classical archaeology, ancient philosophy, and ancient history in translation. The programme is part of a Classics Department.
