A level: ABB-BBB (Required subjects: A-level Latin grade B, or GCSE grade A or grade 7 if not taken at A-level We require English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade 4 (C)) IB: 6,5,5 at Higher level or 32 points overall. Including 5 in Higher or Standard Level Latin
About this course
BA in Classics, focusing on Latin language and literature. Core topics include Research Methods and Historical Research. Half of study time is devoted to reading Latin texts in the original, with the option to add Greek alongside Latin. Royal Holloway is one of only five UK universities offering this course.
