About this course
BA in Sociology and Philosophy, combining sociological inquiry with philosophical traditions from ancient through contemporary thought. Core topics include research methods and social and cultural analysis. The first two years include mandatory grounding modules in both disciplines, with optional choices introduced from the second year. The final year centres on a dissertation in either sociology or philosophy alongside optional modules.
