Entry requirements

UCAS tariff: 104 UCAS points GCSE: Mathematics and English language at Grade C/4 A level: Two full A-levels required as a minimum, to include Grade C in Maths and an E in a Numerate Science (Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Design Technology, Computer Science, Statistics) BTEC: Grade DMM required from Engineering or Applied Science. Not accepted: Electrical Engineering, Aviation Operations T level: Grade M T-Level in one of the following subjects: Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing Maintenance Installation and Repair for Engineering Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control Foundation Year: Degree in a relevant subject (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering), passed with an overall mark of 60 or above Access to HE: Pass with 104 UCAS points from a QAA-approved Engineering course, including 60 credits overall with a minimum of 45 credits at level 3 and Distinctions in numerate modules

About this course

BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, combining aerodynamics, structures, and flight systems. Core topics include Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, Project Management, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The course includes a 26-week Aircraft Design module and an Individual Project. The degree is accredited by The Aeronautical Society under license from the Engineering Council.
