Entry requirements
GCSE: In addition to the following Level 3 requirements, you must have evidence of Level 2 GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. UCAS tariff: 104-112 UCAS points. If you are applying for September 2027, the entry requirements will be 112 UCAS points, A level: Two full A-levels required as a minimum, including grade C in Maths and Physics. BTEC: DMM in Engineering. T level: Subject to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Physics, covering principles from quantum mechanics through to astrophysics and cosmology. Core topics include Microelectronics, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, and Engineering Design. The course is accredited by the Institute of Physics and offers an optional industry placement year.
