Entry requirements
GCSE: In addition to Level 3 requirements, you must have evidence of Level 2 GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. UCAS tariff: 64-72 UCAS points A level: 64 UCAS points to include Mathematics, or a numerate science (Physics, Chemistry Electronics, Design Technology, or Computer Science). 72 UCAS points from any subject combination. BTEC: MPP in Engineering or science subjects. MMP from any other BTEC. T level: Overall grade P (D or E). Any subject accepted. Access to HE: 64 UCAS Tariff points from a QAA approved Engineering or Science subject required. Other subjects require 72 points. About this course
BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering. Core topics include Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, Fieldwork, Project Management, and Legal Analysis. The course includes a foundation year for students who do not meet direct entry requirements, followed by three years of specialist study. A final-year individual project allows independent research on a civil engineering theme of industrial relevance.
