Entry requirements
GCSE: English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent) is required. You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below. UCAS tariff: 104 UCAS points. A level: 104 UCAS points. T level: Merit. BTEC: MMM-DMM. For 2027 entry the requirement will be: DMM. Access to HE: 96-112 points Scottish Highers: 104 UCAS points. Irish Leaving Certificate: 104 UCAS points. IB: 30 points. European Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 71% overall.
About this course
BA (Hons) in History, covering international and military history over the past 250 years. Core topics include Research Methods and Historical Research. The programme includes a 12,000-word dissertation in the final year, with optional placement and study abroad opportunities in the second and third years.
