Entry requirements
GCSE: English Language and Mathematics at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent). You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below UCAS tariff: 112 UCAS points. If you are applying for September 2027, the entry requirements will be 104 points. A level: Two full A-levels required as a minimum, to include grade C in Maths or a C in a numerate science (Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Design Technology, Computer Science or Statistics). BTEC: Grade MPP from a Maths, Physics or a numerate science. T level: To be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on subject.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, covering electronics and computer systems. Core topics include Programming, Circuit Design, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, Control Systems, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. An optional industry placement year is available. The final year includes an individual project based on an engineering theme of industrial relevance.
